Eve ThompsonEve Thompson is a visionary leader and the founder of VOKAL, a platform dedicated to uplifting and valuing the intellectual capital of black women across the African Diaspora. With a background as a lawyer and international development practitioner, Eve has long been troubled by the undervaluation and underrepresentation of black women in these fields.

Throughout her travels, Eve has had the opportunity to meet countless accomplished and brilliant women whose talents, knowledge, and experiences should be earning them recognition and financial success. However, she has seen firsthand the barriers and biases that prevent these women from fully realizing their potential and achieving the success they deserve.

Determined to change this reality, Eve founded VOKAL to provide a platform for black women to share their expertise and be compensated fairly for their contributions. Through VOKAL, black women can connect with potential clients, publishers, and collaborators, and be recognized for the invaluable intellectual capital they possess.

Eve’s mission is to empower and uplift black women by valuing their intellectual capital, and providing them with the resources and support they need to succeed in their chosen fields. With VOKAL, Eve is working to create a more equitable and inclusive world, where black women can thrive and be celebrated for their brilliance and contributions.

Yvette Taylor Jordan is the driving force behind VOKAL’s efforts to bring the VOKAL mission to American audiences
